Starting this blog up with a favourites post, just to get into the swing of things!
So, I'll start with all the beauty-related things I've been loving this past month. The first item is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation, which is just 'perfection'! I have never really been a fan of using a liquid foundation as I've always preferred to use a mousse foundation, however this product completely changed my mind. It's so quick and easily to apply (which is great when you;d prefer that extra half hour in bed), and the colour match is great. The palest tone is one of the best I've seen, so I'd definitely recommend this product to the paler girls out there (like me!).
The second beauty item I've been loving this month is the L'Oreal le blush, and I've been using the colour sandalwood rose. This blush is just a great all round product, its well pigmented and comes in a little compact case so it's easy to slip in your make-up bag. I feel like this colour is nice and bright and summery, perfect for this time of year. It's the perfect finish for a summery make-up look. Team this with L'Oreal's Glam Shine Balmy Gloss in fall for watermelon and your looks complete!
A third beauty favourite this month is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, which I got for my birthday in May. I have literally not gone a day without using this product- I am obsessed! The colours are so bright, I love it! The colours I've been particulary loving are: Dust, Buzz and Trick, basically the glitter tones! This has become a firm staple in my make-up bag and it's there to stay.
Non-beauty now, I recently bought a pair of GHD's after my very loved Babyliss straighteners gave up on me, and I AM IN LOVE! The quality of GHD's have never changed, they are truly the best. I have naturally very wavy hair and find it hard to tame my mop, but now my hair has never been so straight! Definitely worth every penny.
Okay, now for my favourite shop this month- Miss Selfridge. I've never been a massive lover of Miss Selfridge and I usually don't find anything I like but it seems like they've finally got there act together and I'm loving it all! 4 new tops, 2 pairs of jeggings and a dress later- I'm in love! I've always been a die-hard Topshop addict but now it's Miss Selfridge every time. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something fresh and not too expensive to wear. And their dresses are perfect for a night out.
A book next? I'm currently reading 'If I Stay' by Gayle Forman and I'm lost, lost in this world of love and death and confusion and I loved it! I really don't want to say too much about it but trust me it's worth a read. I'm now extremely excited for the film. Talking of the film, it's starring Chloe Grace Moretz who I am currently also loving. My boyfriend and I watched Kiss Ass for the first time last month and I fell in love with her- coolest superhero very! I want to be Hit Girl a little bit too much..
Anyway, I think that's enough favourites for now.
